Ella_playing_piano_back_view

Ella_playing_piano_back_view

this is a biobottoms wool cover, with a soaker sleeve. these are my favorite wool covers, and i've cloned them many times.

Ella_playing_piano_side_view

Ella_playing_piano_side_view

this is the side view, notice that the diaper is about as trim as a paper diaper.

this sleeve is made of athletic poly mesh, stuffed with a microfiber towel folded in thirds. i make the sleeves long and fold them down as needed, this way they can fit various size covers and towels. the cover is a biobottoms wrap that a friend gave me, if these were still being made i'd just buy them and not bother making my own. they are hands down the best i've ever seen.

Pul_cover_under_jammies

Pul_cover_under_jammies

this is one of my biobottoms clones, made of PUL outer and a powerdry liner, bound in FOE. i make them like pocket diapers but during the day i use them as ordinary covers so that they can be used for more than one diaper change. at night i use them as pocket diapers since i don't wake her to change her unless she poops.

notice how trim--no more thick than a paper diaper. i'm not sure if this would be enough for a "super soaker" baby, but even an extra layer of toweling at night would not add much bulk.

BTW, those aren't owies--that's a case of excema that we've been fighting all summer long.

Wool_cover_on_ella

Wool_cover_on_ella

this is the cover on ella. this cover is labeled for 22-27 pounds, but with just a sleeve in it i think it will fit her well beyond 30 pounds.

Wool_cover_under_romper

Wool_cover_under_romper

this is the wool cover with a soaker sleeve, worn under a romper.
