i've been meaning to post this for some time now. i've had so many requests for a tutorial on how to make my version of leather baby shoes, but i just haven't had time to put one together. luckily, my friend catharine has put together a fantastic tutorial on the construction of these beauties, including mary janes and woven sandals, and if you start this week, you have plenty of time to make some sweet little shoes for christmas.
while you're at catharine's site, check out her cloth diapers, she has designed a system that i LOVE and which i think every mother should try. plus she has some wonderful tutorials on things like how to sew fold over elastic binding (useful for fashion clothing as well as diapers), and a cute knifty knitter loom soaker pattern. there, i did it, i got the knifty knitter in this post. HA!
