if you sew, you probably know who "nancy" is. you've either watched nancy zeiman on her show, "sewing with nancy" , you've read one or more of her many fabulous books, or you've ordered something from nancy's notions. in nashville, "sewing with nancy" is on the PBS channel on saturday mornings. i don't always get to watch the show, so for years i have video taped her shows to watch later, which meant that half the time i only had every other episode of a series, or part of a show would get accidentally taped over. on the bright side, this often resulted in getting treated to an unexpected viewing of another obsession, "the tick".
but now, thru the miracle of the world wide web, we have all been liberated from the VCR, because now we can watch "sewing with nancy" ONLINE. for free. just like on TV.
this is great for people like me, who spend most saturday mornings playing "barbra shop" with her baby. now, i can indulge my nancy habit at the only time a mother truly has to herself: 2:57am.
this season nancy is celebrating her 25th anniversary on the air. and it just so happens i have a spare copy of one nancy's books, so if you leave me a comment, i'll put your name in a hat and let ella draw a name on friday afternoon. the winner will get my copy of "10-20-30 minutes to sew".
