(i've been away longer than i intended to be, but now i'm back, and just like with everything else in my life these days, i'm just going to pick up where i left off, because it is the only honest thing to do).
we had a wedding here today. it all started yesterday with a piece of paper ella found in the shop--she told me it was a "married paper", and she marched on it while humming "the married song" and pulling her duck:
today, she told me she needed her "married dress", and she asked me to make her some "married hair". and some married clothes for her duck.
so today, at two weeks shy of her third birthday, my husband walked my baby down the aisle:
ella ended her wedding day EXACTLY the same way i ended mine: laying sideways on the bed, still in her married dress and married hair, barefoot and sound asleep.
she was, without a doubt, the most beautiful bride i've ever seen.
